Marc Jacobs
Originally from Boca Raton, Florida, Marc Aaron Jacobs is a highly accomplished composer and musician who currently owns and operates MAJ Productions, a Los Angeles based post-production company and recording studio. His work includes composing, performing on and producing television and motion pictures soundtracks, as well as commercial jingles and production work for various recording artists.

Prior to establishing MAJ Productions in 1999, Marc worked as the assistant to film composer Jeff Rona at Media Ventures, the current "home" of award-winning composer Hans Zimmer. While at Media Ventures, Marc was able to participate in and observe Hans Zimmer's work on many films including "Armageddon", "As Good As it Gets", "Peacemaker", "Face Off", and "The Prince of Egypt". Marc was also credited for assistance on the Chicago Hope sound track, and was featured playing keyboards on the NBC mini-series "The Gun."

Marc also spent time working in New York City in conjunction with film composer Joel Goodman. He was involved in the scoring and music production for a handful of documentaries, which aired on PBS and The Discovery Channel. Most recently, Marc has been working with award-winning TV and film composer Peter Himmelman on music for such shows as, CBS "Judging Amy", Showtime's "Freshman Diaries" and ESPN II's "True Outdoor Adventures".

Independently, Marc composed music for the Animal Planet, HBO's "Inside The NFL", Fox TV's "America's Most Wanted", ESPN II, Judging Amy (source) and the award-winning film "Sounds of the Fight", which debuted at the 2000 Florida Film Festival. The Sounds of the Fight won the Special Jury Prize at the Florida Film Festival and has aired on HBO, Encore, Bravo, Sundance and the Independent Movie Channel.

In addition to film and television, Marc composed a full orchestral piece for the Valentine's Day performance of the University Of Central Florida Symphony Orchestra and has been working as a freelance composer and musician for One Music - a Nashville based music publishing and licensing company that offers its original music catalog to production companies throughout the world.

"Composing music for TV shows, movies, and other recording artists is demanding, but highly rewarding. It's something I've dedicated my professional life to doing," added Jacobs, who always enjoys the challenges associated with taking on new projects, then using his talents as a highly-skilled composer and producer to create the perfect musical composition.
